Finding The Right Home Caregiver

Trying to coordinate your mom or dad's care in Cape Coral from out of the area is exhausting, and you're doing it without anyone on the ground to tell you what's actually happening day to day.

We pair your loved one with a caregiver who fits who they are, so the person showing up at their door is someone they actually look forward to seeing.

Managing Care From Far Away?

You call on Sunday, and she tells you everything's fine. A missed pill. A fall you only hear about a week later. Or maybe it's just her voice on the phone, a little slower than it used to be. You can't see any of it from where you are, and guessing is exhausting.

You've probably already tried piecing something together yourself: a neighbor checking in, a cousin nearby, phone calls scheduled around your own workday. It helps for a while, and then it doesn't.

What you actually need isn't more effort on your end.

You need someone local and capable. Someone who pays attention every day and tells you the truth about what's going on before it becomes an emergency. And if your mom or dad moved to Cape Coral in the last few years, they don't have a lifetime of local friends checking in on them either.

Led By Tina LeVan, RN, Our Founder

Home Care Collective serves Cape Coral and Lee County, and every client works directly with our team from the first conversation, led by our founder, Tina LeVan, RN. Our RN team stays close to every case, so when your mom or dad's health changes, you hear about it the same day from someone who already knows their situation and can tell you exactly what's happening.

Why Choose Home Care Collective in Cape Coral

True Caregiver-Client Matching

A lot of agencies call it matching, but it's really just whoever's available on the schedule that day. We actually know our caregivers: their personalities, what they're good at, whether they have a quiet, steady presence or a livelier one, whether they get along with a dog underfoot, and even the way they talk.

Before we place anyone, we ask your family one thing: describe the person you'd want walking through that door. We build the match from your answer, not our schedule.

That's how we get it right 99% of the time. And when we don't, we rematch at no cost.

RN-Owned, Medically Led

Tina built this company as a registered nurse with over 23 years in the field. Nursing assessments never come with an extra charge, and every care plan starts with one.

Our RN team attends doctors' appointments at Cape Coral Hospital and practices throughout Lee County, working directly with physicians so nothing gets lost between visits.

Consistent, Familiar Caregivers

Think about how personal it is to have someone help you shower or get dressed. Now imagine that person changing every few days.

Your mom or dad shouldn't have to adjust to a new face every week just to get through a normal day. We keep the same caregiver on a case, and if someone calls off sick, that's on us to solve, not on you to worry about.

Someone qualified will be there.

Cape Coral Is Home

Cape Coral is a young city, built almost entirely by people who came from somewhere else. That changes what care actually looks like here.

Most families picture their mom or dad surrounded by neighbors who've known them for twenty years. Ask yourself: has your parent really had that kind of time to put down roots? A lot of the people living next door moved in around the same time they did.

That matters when something goes wrong. There isn't always a longtime neighbor who'd notice.

We know the ground here regardless. Some homes sit on gulf-access canals. Others are on freshwater canals, a world away by boat but a few streets away by car. Our caregivers know the gate procedures at communities like Sandoval and Cape Harbour, and they know which pharmacy or urgent care is actually five minutes away versus twenty-five once bridge traffic picks up in season.

We also know which bridge gets us to your parent's door fastest. Sometimes that's the Cape Coral Bridge. Sometimes it's the Midpoint Memorial Bridge, or the longer way around when traffic backs up. When someone needs to show up, we show up.

You Don't Have to Figure This Out Alone

Whatever your situation looks like right now, whether you're in Cape Coral year-round, here for the season, or calling from New York, New Jersey, Chicago, or anywhere else, our team is ready to talk.

No pressure.

Just a real conversation about what's going on and how we can help.

How Personal Home Care Works

Schedule a Call

Call us or fill out our online form to set up the conversation. If you're out of state, we do phone and Zoom consultations, whatever works best for you. You'll speak with a real person who knows the business inside and out, and we'll have an honest conversation about what's going on and your options.

Meet in Person

We come to you, mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, whatever's easiest. We'll sit down, talk about what your parent needs, and build a care plan together. A registered nurse does the assessment right there. If the family can't be present, we put them on the phone or on Zoom so everyone's voice can be heard.

Match With a Caregiver

Once we understand your loved one's needs and preferences, we go to work on finding the right fit. Someone whose personality, skills, and temperament match what they actually need. We follow up after the first visit to make sure it's working. We don't assume no news is good news.

Start Care And On-going Support

We'll build a schedule that works for your loved one's life and get your approval before we start. If the situation is urgent, we can move the same day. A little more notice always helps us get the ideal match in place faster, but we won't leave you waiting.

Our Home Care Services in Cape Coral

We build our care around your loved one's life.

We support their routines and their preferences with flexible scheduling that adjusts as things change. Our minimum is a four-hour shift, and we don't require a set weekly schedule. Some families start with care as needed: a doctor's appointment here, help with groceries there. Others need around-the-clock support.

We also offer an à la carte menu for specific tasks, like medication reminders or help getting to a doctor's appointment. Whatever they need, we'll meet them where they are.
